Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using neonframe.guru (the "Platform"), creating an account, or playing any game on NeonFrame, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use NeonFrame. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older. NeonFrame is intended for users located in Canada and other jurisdictions where skill-based social gaming platforms are lawfully permitted.
3. Nature of the platform — not gambling
NeonFrame is a skill-based social gaming platform. It is not a gambling site, a casino, or a sports betting service.
The virtual currency used on NeonFrame is called "Neons." Neons:
- Have no monetary value
- Cannot be exchanged for real money, cryptocurrency, gift cards, or any goods or services
- Cannot be transferred between accounts
- Cannot be purchased with real money
- Are awarded solely based on gameplay performance
Participation in NeonFrame games does not constitute gambling under Section 197 of the Criminal Code of Canada or any applicable provincial legislation. NeonFrame is not licensed as a gaming operator by any provincial gaming authority because no such licence is required for our platform.
In addition to its skill-based games (FramePredict, NeonGrid, GlitchLeague), NeonFrame offers NeonArcade — a free social casino featuring simulated casino-style games including slot machines, roulette, and video poker. NeonArcade games are offered for entertainment purposes only. No real money is wagered or won in NeonArcade. All NeonArcade games use Neons — NeonFrame's virtual points system — exclusively.
4. User accounts
You may only create one account per person. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. NeonFrame reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to: (a) use automated bots, scripts, or tools to play games or collect Neons; (b) create multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages; (c) exploit software bugs or vulnerabilities; (d) harass, threaten, or abuse other users; (e) attempt to sell, trade, or monetize Neons outside the Platform; (f) impersonate any other person or entity.
6. Virtual currency (Neons)
Neons are a points-based reward system within NeonFrame. They are awarded for gameplay performance. NeonFrame LLC reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Neons system at any time without prior notice or liability.
7. NeonArcade Social Casino
NeonArcade is a free social casino available on NeonFrame at neonframe.guru/arcade. The following terms apply specifically to NeonArcade:
7a. Nature of NeonArcade. NeonArcade offers simulated casino-style games — including but not limited to slot machines, roulette, and video poker — for entertainment purposes only. NeonArcade is not a gambling service. NeonArcade does not constitute "gaming" within the meaning of the Criminal Code of Canada (s.197) because: (i) no real money or money's worth is staked by users; and (ii) no real money or money's worth is awarded as a prize.
7b. No real money. No real money is required, accepted, wagered, or awarded in connection with NeonArcade. All gameplay in NeonArcade uses Neons exclusively.
7c. Neons in NeonArcade. Neons earned or spent in NeonArcade are subject to the same terms as Neons across NeonFrame generally: they have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed, exchanged, transferred, sold, or withdrawn.
7d. No guarantee of continued availability. NeonFrame LLC reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue NeonArcade or any of its games at any time without notice or liability.
7e. Age requirement. You must be 18 years of age or older to access NeonArcade.
8. Intellectual property
All content on the Platform, including but not limited to game mechanics, software, design, text, graphics, logos, and audiovisual elements, is the property of NeonFrame LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. Users retain ownership of content they submit (such as usernames and bluff answers) but grant NeonFrame LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and use such content on the Platform.
9. Privacy
We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Our data practices comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. NeonFrame LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform.
11. Modifications
NeonFrame LLC reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify users of material changes by posting a notice on the Platform.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
